"What the heck happened to this place?? I routinely shop here and within the last few months the pricing has become ABSURD. I have another Salvation Army near me in CT whose prices are absolutely no where near what Webster, MA is charging. You guys are selling a dresser, that was DONATED to you, for $299!! I can’t wait for the automated reply to this review from Salvation Army telling me they have a pricing system and blah blah. Maybe you do but this specific store is in no way following that. I’ll stick to the other Salvation Army’s who aren’t taking advantage of people."
"Yo great stuff, service with a smile. Now I’m rocking polo Ralph Lauren I got it on low low! Thrifting all day. I even got to barter some shades some a belt for work. Can’t beat that. Honestly boss people over here. From the workers aligning everything up so nicely to the top running the business fluently. Lovely thrift store! Thrift4lyf. G ish"
"Super overpriced. I've donated hundreds of items to the salvation army but if they are just going to rip people off, I'm going to start donating to another charity. I saw items priced higher, than brand new in store. Ridiculous."
"I took my 88 year old grandmother to this location on august 22 2023 at 2:30. While shopping she asked an employee if she could tell her what color the tags were because she couldn't tell between the blue and green tags. (She is colorblind and has poor vision) The employee, without missing a beat looked her in the eye and said and I quote "Really? Come on now, it's obviously green" before rolling her eyes and walking away huffing, as though doing her job was somehow a hassle or inconvenience. If I had her name I would have left it here for you. Saying she was unprofessional would be a gross understatement at best."
"I used to like coming here... But the prices on items are so arbitrary! You'll see SheIn items priced at $12.99, jean dresses and overalls ar $17.99 and up, Walmart brands priced as much as Gap, Old Navy.... I thought this was a thrift store? Not a price gouge store! This store gets free, donated items and they price them as if they've been cleaned (I saw a cotton dress with bleach stains, frayed edges priced at $8.99 wth) ... And don't get me started on the overly priced, clearly BROKEN items. Who is pricing this sh#t? This store used to be good. Disappointed at these horribly executed prices. I'd rather buy my items new. Edit: the items given to Salvation Army come to you at no cost. Of course Salvation Army pays rent, insurance, and the people who work at Salvation Army. Thanks for the bunk excuses. The prices are not competitive and should not even get competitive. Competitive for who?! The pickers literally put garbage on the shelves, or disgusting items on hangers. Do better."
