Reviews of Go! Calendars, Toys & Games
"I'm feel so bad for the woman working here on 8/10/22, she was verbally abused by a customer because his 5 year old was screaming crying outside because she locked up for the night. He made her feel bad saying you made a 5 year old cry... Many F bombs were thrown in front of the child as well. Security was outside the store too. She actually let them in.... Kudos to her! Sometimes kids need to be disappointed every once in a while... That's how they learn how to deal with situations such as this."
"See a few bad reviews about this location; however, the experience I had was great. Nice selection of games, toys, puzzles, and calendars. It's the place for puzzles and board games for sure. If you are looking for a unique gifts or toy from the older days, this is the place.."
"Witnessed the worker (owner?) run down a family of 4 because the gentleman kept his wallet in a back pack. The man screamed "we're in the middle of a pandemic don't keep your things touching you" among other things, then continued it even while accepting money from the family. Rude. Uncalled for. My girlfriend who had gathered items ready to purchase put them down and we left the store. This man lost my business."
"Walked in the store this evening (630pm or so) and was not greeted by the salesperson. The salesperson had their music on from their phone. Their music repeatedly said N!&&a and the salesperson did not turn it down or change the song. My 12yr old was with me. I looked for a few minutes then left. The salesperson never acknowledged that we were even in the store. We saw lots of cool things to purchase but will NEVER make a purchase with this kind of environment and poor customer service."
"Store owner was incredibly rude to my boyfriend and I. We looked around for a while and tried out a zapping pack of gum gag (packaging was left open by the manufacturer for this purpose), when he rudely said "I think you guys should leave." He accused my "little friend" of opening the package. I recommended he glue the packaging shut because they were all already open. Incredibly offensive. Just a weird, miserable man."
