"Great spot in Charlestown to enjoy during the summer. They have a lawn area with corn hole and bocci. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Best part is the live music venue that features a giant fire pit. The food is what you’d expect from a typically bar and the cocktails and draft beer list is extensive. They do get very busy so service can get bogged down. However, would recommend this spot to anyone in the area."

"Place has great character! Good size with huge outdoor area in back with some live music events. Good size menu, service was solid and attentive but food took a long time to come out. Fries were amazing! Big burgers. Good portions in general. Bocci and cornhole activities available in “backyard” area. Good for families or just a couple friends."

"My husband and I have gone to the Rathskeller many times. As we live in Charlestown. It’s always been wonderful and fresh, especially the fish and chips! But unfortunately, popularity has taken its toll. We ordered our meals takeout due to it being incredibly packed tonight. When we opened our take out boxes when we got home, we viewed an unpleasant surprise. (See photo). Not only was there a teeny morsel of fish, but everything was wet and mushy. I’ve had many a Fish and Chip dinner eaten in and taken out and was appalled by its measly proportion and slimy texture. I literally had four bites worth of fish and the soggiest fries ever. Such a shame. We look forward to our fish and chip meals there and it was truly an unpleasant experience."
