"I sent two linear motors to Servotech to be repaired. Both motors failed immediately after installing them back into the machine. My maintenance crew installed the first motor and it failed instantly. We pulled that motor out and installed the second, "repaired" motor and it failed immediately as well. I then purchased a brand new motor and it worked perfectly. Servotech was not willing to warranty their work after inadequately repairing and/or testing the linear motors. Based on my personal experience with sending Servotech two separate linear motors and both failing, I would think twice before depending on this company to fix your motors in a crunch. I personally will never send anything to Servotech again."

"I had a 20 year old Baumuller DSM 150 motor (out of a 300mm Semiconductor wafer polisher) which is no longer supported by Baumuller, with a bad encoder and magnets that had come out of the rotor. Servotech found and installed a replacement encoder from another manufacturer, and glued the magnets back in place in the rotor, re-dipped the windings, installed new connectors, and replace the shaft bearings. They were able to machine the encoder compartment so that the motor's physical length was maintained. This was critical since the motor is installed in a tight closed compartment with very little extra space. The turn around time was only limited by time to get the replacement parts. I reinstalled the motor and it ran beautifully! The folks at Servotech took time to explain the issues and answer all my questions, and the cost was quite reasonable. It was a pleasure working with them, and they really pulled me out of jam! They really know their business! I highly recommend their services. Thank you Servotech!"
