"While traveling, we got a bunch of lights on the dashboard indicating problems. Dropped off the car at 8:45 in the morning, and he said he'd look at it in an hour. We called after 11, and he claimed he was just pulling it into the garage, and promised to call in an hour. He sounded busy so we didn't want to bug him, but when we didn't hear back by 3:45, we called again. He didn't have a clear idea of what was wrong beyond what the instrument panel lights had said, and claimed he had tried to call but the phone rang and rang without going to voicemail! Of course, there was nothing in our call log. I'm not sure he ever actually tried to diagnose the car. Extremely disappointing. (Next morning, we towed the car to a dealership; they called back within an hour with a complete diagnosis and projected a three-hour repair.)"

I was told by one place if they did figure it out it would be costly. I was recommend by a coworker to take my car to Maiers Garage and it was fixed in a timely manner, that was affordable. I am very happy with the service here. Very honest hardworking people. I will always take my car here now."

The price Robert charged when my mother or myself walks in the door will be the same. Most down to earth mechanics ever. Last 3 diagnostics he’s spent hours on my truck and my car, and doesn’t charge me a cent to look at it. I can’t explain how awesome these guys are. I would send anyone in the area here. It’s even worth the trip out of the way. You definitely won’t find a more honest mechanic in Bridgeport. Family owned and cheap prices. Really no reason not to come here"
