"Southington Memorial Park is a clean and well-located spot, though the playground is quite small in size. It's good for a brief outing, but don't expect a full day's worth of activities. My daughters and even our dog enjoyed the playscapes, which feature a neat pirate ship theme. Overall, a pleasant but limited experience. Four stars."
"Very nice pool. Not to mention playground and picnic tables all on other side. They have a huge changing room and benches in there even. Plus kiddie section is adorable without an actual pool it has colorful tall sprinkles for the little ones to play under. N they were having a blast!"
"Memorial park is a sweet little park in Southington, CT. It has a town pool that offers swimming lessons for kids and open swimming for families in the town. There is a beautiful grove of old oak trees where you can find all sorts of wildlife from mosses and mushrooms to wood frogs and spring peepers. There is a fun playground for younger kids that looks like a pirate ship and lends to all sorts of imaginings as they play."
"The park itself is really nice. Lots of tree for shade and plenty of picnic tables to have a bite to eat on. The playground is kinda small but the pool being so close it's doubtful the kids will want to play very much. The pool is L shaped with the drop end reaching 10 ft. No diving boards, but they do allow diving. Which is a plus for me because that how I like to enter the pool for the first time. I have to say we'll definitely be back here a few more times before summer ends."
