Reviews of Fort Nathan Hale
"a quiet and peaceful place where you can sit and philosophize with a view of the ocean"
"Simple and beautiful sweet spot for sunset and fishing. Only would recommend bringing a flashlight or headlight and bug spray"
"Place looks great for fishing. Little bit crowded. But there is parking."
"This pier/park was redone in 2019/2020? (Don’t quote me on that). I often came here in 2020 to clear my mind of the craziness. The sunsets are gorgeous and can’t be beat. I’ve been back quite a few times since then, but what I saw today was really disheartening! The shrubs in the parking lot were overgrown and there was trash EVERYWHERE. This place used to be well maintained- what happened? I stayed for about 30 minutes on my lunch break- luckily the water is still calming. I guess I need to go back for the sunsets so the trash isn’t as noticeable. It’s too bad that a place that was once so peaceful isn’t as enjoyable anymore."
"It's a nice view, but the playground doesn't have much to it. Definitely needs updating and repair (ex. Only one swing, the other is broken and dangling). The other playground gets PACKED so it would be nice to have more options."
