"Never had a problem with them in 2 years"
"Worst shop in Waterbury. Rude, horribly low offers. Overpriced junk shop."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. Trash products, nasty pawn practices and they use your item when you pawn. Trash pawn shop. Trash customer service. Spinos, or tc's would be better then with this place and people"
"Do not go here. This guy tried to argue with me about how my own scooter functioned, told me it didn’t work, so I had to actually give him a demonstration after he was telling me electric scooters don’t need a kick to get going (since when? All the ones I’ve used have lol). He also tried to tell me my hoverboard wasn’t brand new when I had the box, because it had a small scratch. I told him the thing was from Walmart, my other hoverboard came in a box that was completely destroyed AND missing a charger— a small scratch on a new item from Walmart is definitely not out of the ordinary. But according to him Walmart would “never” sell something with a one inch barely visible scratch. But it’s the fact that he sat there trying to go back and fourth with me, and had the worst attitude. The place was completely empty, I didn’t see but one person come in the entire time I was there, and every time I drive by this place there are no cars in the parking lot, now I know why. Save your time and go to another pawn shop, brass city is good and so is Silas Deane pawn if you want to drive a little further. This guy is awful, unfriendly, unprofessional. I am no stranger to pawn shops, so I have def dealt with some really horrible people who clearly take advantage of the folks who walk into their store and keep them in business. My advice to him: maybe don’t argue with customers, have a better attitude (if possible), and remember people have options and don’t need to do business with you, esp with the lackluster merchandise….one more thing, I also don’t understand the positive reviews I see, I’m assuming they are fake because there was no staff there, and the place is the emptiest pawn shop I’ve ever seen as far as staff and merchandise."
"worst pawn shop ever i went there with a brand new beat machine unopened still wrapped and sealed and they made me open it to show them that it’s new and the price for it was 450 everywhere and they offered me 75 dollars for it. these guys love to rip people off."
