"Purchased a cherry pie yesterday. Cherries are missing. Not one cherry to have, just a red glop pie. What happened? This is the fourth time I have purchased a cherry pie.i know I can bring it back. However, it involves a 20 + mile journey."

"What a devoted local following! We visited while passing through town and the line was out the door. Their bacon egg and cheese sandwich is pillowy soft & steamy, and their donuts are similarly tender. Boston cream filling was silky and tasted homemade. They have shelves neatly stocked with floury blond sliced loaves and rolls, and their pastry case is full of beautiful cupcakes and a handful of other pastry that I imagine are also good quality. While the line moved a bit slowly, coffee was just okay, and the donut selection was small, they are clearly well-established and serving patrons what they want. Cute place too- a giant dough trough table, huge classic sign and original photos give it a nostalgic touch. The biblical phrases on signs and walls aren’t my cup of tea but it didn’t make my sandwich any less enjoyable!"

"10.29.23 I'm not from this area but stopped randomly and wow! The bacon and egg breakfast sandwich was soft and warm, yum. The little $3 rolls are soft and really good. We also tried a bunch of donuts. The apple filled one was fantastic. The coffee and atmosphere were ok. Service was fabulous with a friendly and perky staff. Lots of parking too. My only complaint is the bathroom. It needs to be updated and cleaned. I can't wait to try other pastries next time."

"A local bakery with fresh bread and pie plus donuts, that are WAY TOO GOOD, It's always better to patronize your local shops. Especially when they have such fantastic and delicious items. I've yet to have anything that was absolutely perfect. The pies are a bit pricey, but well worth it"
