Reviews of Tasca Volkswagen White Plains Service Center
"Staff are very friendly and nice, and I think they are very good for basic services and repairs. They seem to struggle to fix more complicated or non-standard issues. For example, the heat in my Atlas stopped working and they’ve had my car for nearly two months and have still not been able to identify or fix the issue. I also went to pick the car up twice after they said it was fixed, and both times showed them how it’s still not working. They did provide a loaner car but what’s concerning here is that they don’t seem to have the experience to fix non standard issues. Despite repeatedly trying, the attendant in charge of my car has stopped calling me back or communicating when she thinks they can fix my car which is concerning and frustrating. For me a true test of customer service is how they respond to non standard cases. I’ll update this post as I get more information from them."
"I recently had my car repaired at a car shop, and I have to say, my experience was less than satisfactory. From start to finish, the poor communication was frustrating and disappointing. Despite explicitly requesting that they top off the low oil level in my car, this simple task was neglected entirely. It's unbelievable that they couldn't even manage to fix the time clock. The lack of communication throughout the entire process was a major letdown. They failed to keep me updated on the progress of the repairs, leaving me clueless and in the dark. It's incredibly frustrating to not know when I can expect to have my car back on the road, especially when I rely on it for everyday transportation. Moreover, I specifically highlighted the issue with the low oil level and emphasized the importance of rectifying it. I entrusted them with the responsibility of properly addressing this concern, only to discover that it was completely overlooked. The fact that they failed to tap off the oil, despite my clear request, is unacceptable."
"I took my car on Monday for a diagnostic. Got a call later that day they said they need it one more day due to the mechanic need to speak with Volkswagen tech support about my check engine light. This where all the problems began. First I found it strange that the mechanic knew what was going on with my car when my car never turn on that day (I have a remote start that sends a message to my phone when the car turns on). I never got a message that day. No problem I told my advisor which was a male. Then the next day I see my car is on and moving around. After they finish I get no call that day. So I called later that day to see what up, come to find out my advisor is off that day. I ask to some else speak to me to find out what's up. No one calls back. Wednesday I call back and ask to speak to my advisor but find out he is having personal issues and won't be in for a while. OK NO PROBLEM UNDERSTANDABLE, is there anyone else i can talk to. They say someone will call you soon. NO ONE CALLS AGAIN. So I call back later that day and still no one wants to speak to me. That 2 days of no one speaking to me about my car and what it needs to fix it. Then Thursday I call in the morning no one calls back. I call again after 3pm and I am upset, so the person on the phone gets me Norma (my new advisor). She get one the phone tells me what going on and gets the ok from me to do the work. She has to order parts but because it was after 3pm i have to wait till Monday to get the parts. SO now i have waited over a week for my car to be ready when it should have been 2 days work at most. Norma keep me inform and if it wasn't for her this review would be worst. The only thing I was still truly still upset about is that fact i ask for a discount due to not being forgotten and I got no discount. I UNDERSTAND THINGS HAPPEN BUT DON'T FORGET PEOPLE WHO BEEN CALLING FOR DAYS. That is not how you treat customers. I spend over 2500 getting my car fix but did not have a great experience for my first and last time using this service center."
"Francisco went above and beyond. He was able to accommodate me for an oil change within the week before I went on very long driving trip to South Carolina. He even personally helped me the day before I left, (a Saturday), when I had an issue with my phone and the car connection. Excellent service I received. Thank you Fransisco! You were a life saver."
"Customer service experience was not great. Did not get any information on when my car was ready for pick up. I was supposed to pick it up on a Monday and didn't get it until Tuesday night. I called 4x and got the answering service, and never got a call back from someone at the shop. When I finally got in touch with someone at the shop, they told me they had called me 4 hours earlier and that the car was ready. I had no missed calls and no messages. I sat around waiting all day to go and get my car and had no communication, except with a call center who could not get in touch with anyone for me. The people at the garage were nice, and understood the frustration with the answering service. But overall, not a great customer service experience."
