"The technician came in said, I needed a new compressor. My refigerator items were frozen. I lost everything. Said it would work in 24 to 30 hours. 48 hours later still not working. Many calls to them said had to order new part. $684 later. I demanded refund. No one took this seriously. Went out to Lowes bought a nice white refigerator for $625. I was treated very poorly. I would never recommend this company."

"Called for service told them what I had and symptoms, they said someone will be out today. I asked if they have a fully stocked truck said have most most items. Service technician called and asked me symptoms and what I have done. He came out said it was the main circuit board but didn’t have one, it may take 2,3 days to get part, and the cost to repair would be $790.00. I said not paying that amount and i called local appliance parts place and they said they have it $169.00 . Tech said we don’t deal with them. I believe the tech new the problem when he called me and also new he didn’t have the part. I believe that they do this internationally so they can change a exorbitant fee because they know you are stuck. This is not a good business practice. I when and bought the part and installed it myself in less than 15 minutes. I threw away $197.00 for nothing, l hope this review will save you money and time call someone else!!!"

"Happened 2 months ago. Called for repair on a Viking freezer due to water leaking from the inside. The technician tried to upcharge us by saying we need things that we did not need (ie. refrigerant even though the freezer was doing a perfectly good job keeping everything cold). He temporarily solved the water leak issue but caused another issue to start shortly after - ice forming at the top of the freezer and on the inside of the door. Not to mention the service charge was pretty high for what little the technician did. We got an actual Viking technician to come recently and he said the technician from Appliance Genie most likely caused an issue with the compressor which would be a more expensive and serious issue. The Viking technician went so far as to say we wasted our money with the technician from Appliance Genie. Highly recommend AGAINST going with this company."

"Wonderful business to work with. My wife and I just moved into our new home and discovered a small gas leak with our stove top (as well as a 'banging' washing machine). I saw the great reviews for Appliance Genie and also saw that they were certified to work with our brand of stove so I gave them a call to set up an appointment. From speaking with Joan in the office to working with their technicians at our house, it was an easy, efficient, and high quality experience. They came out to diagnose the issues, gave us very honest and helpful advice (washing machine was done for and better to replace) and then returned to fix the gas leak on the stove. They did not mark up any prices for materials and their rate for labor is extremely fair as their technicians worked very thoroughly on our stove. We were very happy to work with Appliance Genie as they are honest, hard-working, professional, and we look forward to continuing to work with them for our appliance needs. If you need a great appliance repair contractor - Appliance Genie is it. No one is lying on these reviews - they deserve the accolades."
