"Extremely happy with their service! It’s in town, they came fast and fixed things efficiently. They get my washers installed twice, and replaced my toilet seats. I would definitely come back in the future!"
"For a full disclosure, I went through American home shield so that may be a factor in this review.I used Garys before to fix my fridge and everything was fine. However, this time I had the company come out and fix something that was broken on my washing machine. It only worked from August 16th to October 12th, when the part they put on broke again. I called American home shield, and they said that since it was past the 30 day window they wouldn't not do a recall. I called Gary's, and they told me that the parts are supplied by American home shield so it was not their responsibility that the part broke. So I'm out a $100 bucks and still have a broken washer. I don't plan on using this company again. I do understand that American Homestead provided the parts, but most companies provide at least a 90 day warranty on parts. I'm not sure who deserves the poor rating here.. if it's the company that provided the poor parts or the company that accepted the poor parts. Either way I don't think I would use them again if it was my choice. It's too bad because I liked Gary. He seemed like an honest guy. I think all in all is just a reminder that we should not use home warranty companies because they don't guarantee the repairs beyond 30 days. According to the receptionist, it was the $350 part, but I find that hard to believe. They offered to come out and do a service call for a $160 to replace the $350 part, and charge me for both things. Just struck me as poor management management. I mean it's one thing does they have to pay for the part but it's another thing to charge me for a service with it when they're the ones that perhaps didn't install the part properly."
"Didnt fix our fridge the first time he came or the 2nd time he came back the same day. Said he was ordering a part. That was on 9/15. I called in October. Said he was waiting for the part. Never heard anything from him. I fixed it myself."
"Gary came to our house about 2 years ago and fixed our dryer for a very reasonable price. Expecially in such a tight space, but he pulled it on it's face, climbed up over it to access the back & had it fixed in no time. Now I'm about to call him to try to fix my oven."
"There is no other company that you should call other than Gary's Appliance when one of your appliances dies. We've worked with Gary over the past 30+ years and have NEVER been disappointed. He's honest, fair and knows his stuff like nobody else. Call him!"
