Reviews of Manchester Honda Certified Service and Parts Center
"Went in to pick up a part and when I tried to confirm it was the right item the guy said “isn’t that what you ordered?” Additionally, prior I brought my car in for a recall; my dashboard wasn’t put together correctly and then they wanted me to drop it off again to fix that but wouldn’t offer another rental. (was no need it takes 5 seconds to do when you know what you’re doing)."
"I went for a recall for my passport so I told them to change the oil because I had to wait 4 weeks to get an appointment. When I picked up the vehicle the oil was not changed. I asked why. They insisted that it wasn't due.Great. What ever happened to customer service. On my way home from Manchester Honda the maintenance signal came on and quess what, oil change is due. So now they don't have any appointments for 6 weeks. Don't know how they stay in business."
"I brought my '06 Shadow 750 in for an oil change, which cost me $144.44 ($14.99 for each QT. of synthetic , and $21.59 for a filter). After 141 miles I checked the oil level to ensure all was right. I did it with the bike on the kick stand, BUT also screwed the dipstick in all the way. Eric said this was wrong. but no oil was evident at all. It had been running fine, which was comforting, but after putting in 2 1/2 Qts. of oil, the level was finally up to about 1/8" above the top line on the dipstick. I had multiple calls with Eric, who in the end was convinced they had put in the 3 Qts. of oil. He had no answers, why after I put in 2.5 Qts., and did the check over again by the book, it registered 1/8" overfilled. He did offer to do the next oil change. WHY would I have them work on my bike again? I was told going into the appointment it would take 30 min. - 1hour. I came back to the dealership at an hour, and still waited at least 20 mins( which is all it should have taken because........... 'the filter came off right away' for the tech), Secondary to my belief two qts. of oil did not get into the bike, and Eric's finding this confusing, I should have asked for a price before making the appointment. I could get an oil change on my car, which uses more oil, for a lot less money! I am 73 years old, and this is the first time I have ever posted a review. Disappointed, Walter"
"Terrible customer service in the service dept. Tried to schedule a diagnostic for my Honda which has 100k. Was basically told unless there is a check engine light on or not running no need to replace anything and the next appt was end of July :-(. Called another Honda dealer, got in within a week and the issue we thought (vtc and timing tensioner) was bad and replaced timely. Will NEVER go back for any service to Manchester Honda again."
"I waited for 4 hours to get my oil change and tire rotation done. During the rotation they broke one of the lug nuts, and put the blame on Liberty Honda where the rotation was made last time. They wanted to charge $200 for one nut! I requested it to be put back but they rejected in an aggressive manner. It was obvious that they broke the nut just to charge more money. The customer service, including the manager was horribly mean and extremely unprofessional. STAY AWAY.."
