Reviews of Fix and Repair
"THIS STORE IS A SCAM!! Trust your gut instinct and make sure you check the reviews!! You’ll go in the store for one thing that needs to be fixed and leave the store with another issue!! Such a shame and horrific way to lose clientele. I went in to get the back of my phone glass repaired (iPhone 12 Pro Max) and on top of that paid for a new phone case with them! I left the store because I noticed I had no internal issues with the phone, it was when I went back home and realized my camera had dust particles in the lens. I came back to the store with my husband and explained the issue for the worker to get defensive and tell us he has no idea what we were talking about and to be threatened to “leave his store or security will be called”."
"Fake repair store. Went in to get my fiancés back glass replaced (iPhone 12 Pro Max). The guy did it and it looked great, however, when we got home, we noticed the wide angle lens on the back of the phone (the bottom lens) had a TON of dust and particles inside of it, making it impossible to take clear pictures. Prior to this, there wasn’t a single issue with the camera or its functionality. This raised concerns because, 1, you don’t need to touch the camera in order to replace the back glass. 2, that means they did something that didn’t need to be done and tried to get away with it by just not telling us and hoping we wouldn’t notice. I went back with my fiancé to explain the situation and was told “we didn’t have to touch the camera so it wasn’t us”, even though the camera was perfectly clear before bringing it to this store. I told the guy that he either broke the lens while replacing the back glass and replaced it along with the back glass and just didn’t clean inside the camera or the lens before putting the new lens glass on top, or, he went into the phone via the front by taking off the screen and accessing the internal components of the phone and somehow got dust and particles inside the lens, which he did not need to do. He immediately became defensive and refused to listen to reason. My favorite part is when he looked me in the eyes and said “you have to break the screen in order to take it off of the phone so why would I do that?”. I’ve been working on phones, tablets, computers and laptops for YEARS, I even had a job building robots for some time and never ONCE have I seen an iPhone that needs to have the front screen BROKEN/SHATTERED in ordered to replace it. It’s 2 screws at the bottom where the lightning port is and then you use a small wedge tool along with a small suction cup to remove the screen without damaging a single thing. These people clearly do not know what they’re doing and are just trying to make money. The guy told me “I fix 10 phones a day”, even though the store is bone dry and I’ve never seen a single soul step foot inside there besides my fiancé and I. If I could give negative stars, I would. Please avoid this place at all cost. It is certainly not worth your time or money."
"Went to get a screen replacement for a small crack on my iphone 13. The phone worked perfectly otherwise. Got it back and now i get double characters whhen trying to type and the battery doesnnt charge fully and drains super quick. Brought the phone back annd theyy firstt tried to deny the problems were from anything rhey did. Thee theiir credit, they offerred too replace thee screenn aggaiin. Now the probleems are even worse. Buyer beware!"
"I had an iPad with a cracked screen to repair. Attempt #1 - After receiving my repaired ipad, the wires on the top middle of the iPad (when held horizontally) were bulging causing the screen to also bulge. The bulging was causing tap/touch responsiveness issues in the area of the bulge. Attempt #2 - They applied more glue, but after a couple days of normal use, the glue became undone and the same issue persisted. Attempt #3 - This time, the bulge issue was fixed, although the residual glue used to adhere the screen to the casing is now adding up and overflowing. That would be a negligible issue if the screen was repaired and working. However, now the touch mechanic of the entire device has gone absolutely haywire. The chaos cannot be overstated. Tapping in one place may cause three taps in another. Swiping may be delayed, or not. Tap+Hold might spam tap. It also may just start operating on it's own with taps, swipes, zooms, and whatever other features come with the touch mechanic. At this point I genuinely felt bad for the worker as he was polite and giving an honest try; however, the results just weren't there. I felt bad continuously returning with an unusable device to fix over and over again, so I decided to buy another iPad and put this problematic unusable iPad on a shelf. Attempt #4 - After a few months pass, I no longer felt bad. I spent over $100 for the replacement screen and decided that it was worth it to try again. I brought the device back to the repair store and explained the story, the multiple attempts, and feeling bad for the employee(s) who failed in the attempts. I was told that because I waited several months they were unwilling to help me unless I paid again. I was offered half price, but it makes no sense to pay someone again after they have proven incapable of a successful repair in the first place. They either think I'm lying or don't stand by their work. Attempt #5 - TBD"
"A worst experience with this shop! I replaced my screen on Iphone X and it died in 3 weeks with out dropping the phone or any damage made by me, you can see the picture attached. I went to the shop and they dont do any refunds anything else no matter what. plus after I changed the screen my back was not working at all. After I went to another shop to fix the screen, when they opened the phone, it has glue and kind a oil inside, that appears from the screen they put it and what, as result broke my back camera as well. And after all these they refused to do or refund anything. My advice: never come into that shop if you dont want ti have a huge headache and money lose P.s. I didnt ask apple to do it because they had a 2 weeks line on appointments."
