"Went to PN due to a bad coolant leak from both my radiator and a major pipe running through my engine bay which was leaking into my starter causing it to go bad and grind. PN did a thorough job ensuring all parts around the problem and the necessary gaskets were replaced alongside them. Other shops quoted me 8 or 9 hours of labor for this procedure but PN had it done in less than 5 hours and was done by same day as drop off end of day. While removing my exhaust to get to the pipes needing replacement, the technicians discovered there was a shady aftermarket "fuel saver" part, pictured here, that had been sloppily installed by the prior owner that has likely been the source of an air mixture issue/check engine code that has come up time to time - at least 6 other shops had failed prior to properly identify this issue but PN technicians Mike and Seth found it by incident while performing other repairs. Would recommend to others and will return in the future."

"Based on the reviews, I chose PN Auto Boday & Repair to fix the body damage on my car caused by someone t-boning me. The passenger side front and rear doors were damaged, as was the front passenger side wheel and bumper. Upon walking into the shop, I was comforted by the several "Best Auto Shop of Southington" and felt assured that I was in the right place and I could trust the reviews and the owner, Ziggy...Zibby...whatever his name is. Boy was I foolish thinking these people were reputable, honest and cared about their customers. To make a VERY long (and still unfinished) story short, the accident occured on August 18th of this year. I dropped my car off at PN about a week later once the insurance adjuster came to check out my car (it was still safe to drive). I was dissapointed to hear that they did not offer rentals, but this is pretty typical, so I rented through Enterprise right down the road. The owner told me it would be about 5 days to complete, so I grabbed my rental and left. 5 days later, heard nothing. I stopped in to check on the status and he said it was going to take longer than expected for the parts to come in, so I extended my rental. I asked Ziggy/Zibby (owner) if I could get their quote on how much this was going to cost so I could compare their price to the price my insurance adjuster provided, but he would not provide that info to me. Fast forward a week, still heard nothing. I called and was told, "Oh yea, it's ready whenever." So I pick up my car and ask them for an invoice. They handed me my insurance adjuster claim that I had given them and I told them I wanted an invoice from their shop with itemized details on costs and what was completed on my car. They could not provide that. I took my car and left. As I was driving home, I noticed the "check airbag" light was on, but the shop was about to close and I needed my car for the weekend (this was Friday). During the weekend, I also realized that my rear passenger side window would roll down, but not back up. I had to wait until Monday to return my car since they're closed on Sat and Sun. Come Monday, I tell them what was going on and they scheduled me to drop it off again. I was told it would only take by the end of the day to fix, so I walked to Enterprise and rented a car for the day out of pocket since the claim was closed at this point. By 4:30pm this same day, I still hadn't received a phone call about my car, so I called them. They said they're still working on the airbag sensor and to come back Tuesday. Now Tuesday, I go back to the shop and they tell me the car is not safe to drive bc the airbags aren't working. I asked them why they allowed me to drive it off the lot with no airbags and I just got a shrug. Then I asked if they even check the car after "fixing" it and apparently, it all went "unnoticed", even though my car has 2 airbag warning lights , one on the dash and one flashing on the center console, so not sure how that could be missed. They tell me they have to call in a specialist and it is going to be another couple days. I asked to talk to the owner, Zippy, who was nothing but condecending and rude. He wouldn't offer me aid for the rental I was paying OOP for, denied any wrongdoing allowing me to drive the car off the lot knowing it was unsafe, then proceeded to say, "Hey, it's not my fault you got into an accident". I told him it was their fault for causing more damage to my car and allowing me to drive it off their lot with no working airbags or window. He continued to talk to me like I was at fault and I had to just deal with it and wait. Here we are now, October 16th, almost 2 months after the accident and still, no car, no phone call, NOTHING. My insurance adjuster even called PN and asked to speak with the owner and he gave her the same BS he gave me. My insurance adjuster told me to not call them back again and that she would take care of things from here on out. B-E-W-A-R-E!!!!!"
