"What a HORRIFIC experience. This business has scammed my mother and refuses to take accountability for their actions, we have attempted multiple times to rectify the SCAM and state they've left my mom's car. My mom brought her car to the owner - who we found through filling legal action against him IS NOT licensed or certified to work on cars in the state of CT, the business itself is a legal LLC however the owner who worked on my mom's car isn't licensed - to have a key programmed, as she was told her existing key wasn't functional. The owner ended up holding her car for an extensive three-month period, during which she had to arrange for a tow truck to transport it to and from the shop. Over those three months, the owner informed her that the car needed an oil change and tune-up, resulting in an additional charge of $1,000. When my mom finally got her car back because they called, admitting they cannot fix the car, she was shocked to find it COMPLETELY disassembled inside. She has photos with dates to substantiate the condition in which the car was initially delivered and how it was returned since the owner has attempted to GASLIGHT us into believing the car was given like that (it was not as we have photos of the car taken prior to being turned in to them for the three-month period). This occurring after finally getting into contact with him as he has been ignoring our calls and attempts to have this fixed until finally, he answered with a blocked number and said he doesn’t care that it’s no longer his problem. He refuses to refund the money spent in tow trucks and work for services he DID NOT DO and charged us for and left My mom's car in literal pieces inside. What an unprofessional business that scams hardworking people of their money. Disappointing and shameful."
"DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. He refuses to refund the money spent in tow trucks and work for services he DID NOT PERFORM and left My aunt's car in a worse state. DO NOT go to the shop. They are SCAMMERS."
"This business does not even deserve a one-star review, I have discovered that the shop and the owner who worked on my car lack any licensing or certifications as mechanics in the state of Connecticut through the DMV. I brought my car to the owner for key programming after being informed that my existing key was malfunctioning. However, they retained my car for an extensive three-month period, necessitating tow truck arrangements for transportation (which we had to pay for). During this time, they informed me that my car needed an oil change and tune-up, leading to an additional charge of $1,000. Upon retrieving my car, I was shocked to discover it disassembled. I possess dated photos confirming the car's initial condition and how it was returned. The most exasperating part is their ADMISSION of incapacity to perform key programming and their failure to disclose the state in which they were returning my car (I had to pay for another tow truck to have my car returned). They remained unresponsive until I had to contact them from a blocked number, avoiding addressing the situation or refunding the money for the unfulfilled services. When I finally reached the owner, they displayed no concern for the situation, stating they had discussed it with my husband instead of me, despite my direct payment since the car is in my name and under my ownership. Their refusal to rectify the situation is highly unprofessional; they are engaging in deceptive practices. Furthermore, they have made false claims about the car's initial state, which I can prove with dated photos is untrue. My car is now completely dismantled, rendering it impossible for anyone else to program the key and making the vehicle unusable. I'm deeply dismayed by the lack of professionalism and disregard for my property. To make matters worse, AGAIN I have discovered that the shop and the owner who worked on my car lack any licensing or certifications as mechanics in the state of Connecticut through the DMV. I urge you not to go to this shop, as they are unlicensed, engage in financial misconduct, and hold vehicles for extended periods, all while blocking communication after payment. We have already reported them to the BBB, consumer affairs, DMV, and small claims court. An investigation is pending to confirm their licensing status. Please refer to the attached photos illustrating the state in which my car was left and of the THIRD tow truck I had to pay for it to be taken to a LICENSED fair dealing mechanic to fix all the damage they've done to the car. All I wanted was for this to be rectified and for my car to be fixed from what they did, and they've allowed it to escalate it to this by scamming us of our money of services NOT rendered/completed."
