Reviews of Joseph Cote & Company, LLC.
"Very efficient, professional and capable appliance repair. Required 2 visits and a lot of money, but our Miele coffee system works like new. Thanks, Eric!"
"As a woman it was nice to have the service done without feeling I was being overcharged. His advise actually saved me money. Congratulations on excellent service."
"Terrible service! Did not come when scheduled. Did not bring the part even though I told them the problem that the Miele repairman told me it was. Told me they would call with an estimate and then just fixed it $800 without letting me know first. Made a deal with them to pick it up for less but they did not return all the parts of my warming drawer. Would not return calls. Would give 0 stars if possible."
"This company is incredible. From the scheduler who answers the phone right up to Joe himself, what a group of professionals. He spoke with me on the phone at LENGTH about my machine and it's odd behavior, half diagnosing it before he even came to my home and coming with the proper potential parts in hand. I had a 2005 subzero under counter pair of 27" freezer drawers with a bad main board, and it was a Generation 2 of my model. Of course, Subzero doesn't MAKE the gen 2 main board any more. They make the Gen 1 and the Gen 3, but not the Gen 2. Other companies called me dead in the water at that point. The part is not made, nor is it in stock anywhere. And to make matters worse, Subzero doesn't make a 27" pair of freezer drawers anymore, only 24" or 30", so I was looking at needing a new pair (not avail till 12/2023) AND needing cabinetry work. Joe to the rescue! He brought a gen 1 main board to my house, but knew a gen 1 main board HAS to be paired with a gen 1 panel! (the on/off and temp control buttons) Guess what? They don't make a Gen1 panel any more! of course! but Joe had one on his shelf, a part that came out of a warranty return from 20 years ago, just waiting to find a new home. He put in the Gen 1 panel, the Gen 1 board, but knew there would be ONE HITCH. The Gen 2 cable connecting the two was going to have a plug that was too big. He was going to come back another day and jerry rig it but then, in a flash of brilliance, he took the Gen 1 main board out of it's plastic housing and put it in the plastic housing of my Gen 2 main board, so the old cable could still be used. VOILA! It's working perfectly. Perfectly I tell you! The man is a GENIUS who knows the science AND the art of his craft. I will never use another repair person!"
"I almost never leave reviews, but the service I received from Mr. Cote was incredible. I would consider him an expert in his field. My Subzero refrigerator had been acting up and not cooling properly. He came out on a Saturday, the same day I contacted him, even though I told him it wasn't an emergency and could wait. Within 10 minutes of arriving, he diagnosed the issue, and temporarily got the unit up and running until he can get a new evaporator coil from subzero. The fact that he is going to replace only the evaporator coil, and not also replace the heat exchanger speaks volumes about his integrity. Im not easy to please, because I have a pretty good grasp of the repair process. I usually can fix my own appliances. I spent two full days with the service manual but was unsuccessful due to the specific tools and training needed for refrigeration repair. I will absolutely call him again in the future. Apparently he does all types of appliances. Oh- and he came from Connecticut to my home in New York to make the repair. A++"
