"So I’ll start off with this. I’m surprised after reading all these great reviews and also after seeing all types of vw’s out front, I would’ve expected better phone etiquette when I called to quote dsg service. Not sure who picked up the phone but he sounded annoyed. When I asked if they perform dsg service, he acted like he didn’t know what what a dsg was. After explaining that it’s vw’s transmission, he says “oh yeah”. I ask how much for the service and he replies in an annoyed tone, it’s like $400 bucks. I kindly thanked him and hung up the phone. $400 is more than what the dealers quoted me but I would’ve happily went to “the mechanical advantage” if the person who answered the phone was more professional or at least courteous to a potential customer (me). I’m not telling anyone to not go there but that was my experience. And this was just on the phone. I ended up servicing the dsg myself and I do need some additional work done but I’ll just bring it to a dealer to save myself the headaches."
