"Sniped by unprofessionalism! On 02/02/24, my family and I ventured to Snipes at Westfarms Mall for an enjoyable day of shopping. Our initial visit to the store at Westfarms Mall sparked our interest due to an enticing deal on polo sleeper sets for the whole family. However, upon discovering that my size was not available, we decided to visit the Buckland Hills Mall location, to exchange jeans for a different size at Aero. To our dismay, the unprofessionalism at Snipes at the Buckland Hills Mall store. Despite finding a selection under a prominently displayed "Fifty percent off" sign, the ordeal began when we sought clarification on which polo sleepers qualified for the advertised sale. The store clerk, seemingly indifferent and preoccupied with a grinder, responded with a muffled and dismissive "How may I help you?" Proceeding to make our selections, we encountered further complications at the cash register. The sale-clerk, nonchalantly munching on her food, explained that the sale price would be applied after scanning. However, when the prices did not align with the advertised discount, her response was an impatient and impolite "Let me get my manager." Surprisingly, the manager's attitude was even more off-putting. Rather than addressing the situation with professionalism, she appeared visibly annoyed at having to assist us. It became apparent that the polo sleepers on display were not universally eligible for the advertised discount, a fact that was not clearly communicated by the initial store clerk when we sought clarification. I told her the pants at West Farms were 32.99 would they honor the store price she did say yes but would need to call the store. She proceeded to call the store manager at west farms she quickly said the pants are $49.99 seeing that i had just left there I knew the price marked on them in orange was $32.99 further listening to the two managers talk that manager was not even on the schedule at that time and had to call someone else to confirm that’s when i quickly googled the west farms number unfortunately that phone was not in service. The manager's curt remark, "That is not the price for all the polos next to the sign, and we can't just change prices whenever a customer wants," was the final straw. The sheer level of unprofessionalism displayed by both the cashier and the manager during this encounter was overwhelming I decided that I was not going to make the purchase in left the store unfortunately because I love a good deal. As a result of this disappointing experience, we have decided to refrain from patronizing Snipes in the future. Potential customers beware – the lack of professionalism and customer service at this store is reason enough to seek alternatives for your shopping needs."
