"This place is terrible for business. I went in to return cans and machine wasn't working. The employee fixed it. But machine did not give me a receipt. He thinks I was trying to steal 3.00. This place has lost my business. Accuse customers of trying to steal especially cans I brought in."

"This is our go-to liquor store! The new owners changed the name to 7 Star Liquors about a year ago and completed an entire remodel of the store. It is always clean, well organized, has good prices, and has a huge selection of wine, beer, and liquor. You can find a ton of different products chilled within the refrigerator section which is awesome on a hot day. They also carry non-alcoholic beverages, candy, and an aisle of EBT approved foods. The gentleman who has worked the front counter (I believe he is the owner) EVERY single time we have gone there in the last year, has always been kind, courteous, and friendly."

"Use to be okay for a quick stop. Nothing fancy and a bit grimey but had selection of brews. Dropping rating as now their selection has dropped way down and shelves are only half full."

"4 solid stars. And the stars are for price. Austin serves a working class and, frankly, ghetto clientele (like me!) all of whom are looking to get their drink on for a fair price. Austin's liquor and nip prices are well below discount and competitive with any other place you could go. The one cashier with whom I've dealt with consistently appears rough around the edges but is a real friendly, down to earth fellow who makes buying booze a pleasure. Plenty of parking. Only issue is good luck, depending on the time of day, making a right out of the parking lot. That is Main St., and it's 2 lanes of busy traffic with a blind curve. Heavy police presence in the neighborhood and around the liquor store - so make sure you're driving correct. Lastly, shady folks all over the place. But you don't bother them and they won't bother you."
