"This place is really awesome, the owner is super nice and it may not look beautiful, but the prices are great and the staff is pretty friendly! I’m a regular customer, so I actually had the privilege of witnessing the the incident that the two women in the 1 star reviews were talking about. They (the two woman I mentioned earlier) were being incredibly impolite and disrespectful to the owner, and the reason the wine bottle broke was because she snatched it out of his hand. She deserved to pay for it, as it happened because of her rude, entitled behavior. If you’re in the area, give this place a try! The gentleman who owns the store is my favorite, but the other two employees I see most often are awesome too!"

"Worst service ever. I used to work at a liquor store, even if the customer bought a bottle, and it broke on the counter we would never make the customer pay for another. The bags are so cheap that bottles are constantly breaking. The man at the counter needs to be fired, as he is disrespectful to his customers. He slid the bottle to me through the bag and the bottle shattered, and he gave me an attitude for his own issue he caused. The place is super hot, and it’s not discounted at all. These aren’t state minimum prices, I would know. I work in the industry, and they need to be taking cans back as they are charging for them as well. 10/10 don’t recommend."

"So first of all, got no greeting. The man at the counter gave me a bag filled with things without warning me how heavy it was. I took it and spilled my big bottle of new Amsterdam on the ground. Not only did the man behind the counter embarrass me and yell at me in front of customers, he made me pay for the broken bottle of liquor."

"First time stopping in here and ill have to say I was impressed with the variety of inventory. I went in to buy some wine but ended up buying some twisted shotz and kinky nipps along with the wine. The staff is very nice. They carry a variety of wines from all over the world and some locally from CT. The wine prices are very competitive with the big stores around. Rockville Discount Liquors is now my go to place for wine and beer."
