"I moved to East Hartford last summer and this was my first time going! I love the selection, the store is very clean and everything is very easy to find! The one con is that I didn’t notice any price tags on anything. So I had no idea how much I was spending until I got to the register! The guy who helped me (I assume was the owner) was SO KIND & HELPFUL! He introduced me to some new beers (which hopefully I like). He was very knowledgeable about all kinds of beverages! I will be definitely returning the next time I need to stock up! I only rated 4 stars because I didn’t see any price tags!"

"I just love going in to find something new. Kay has always been helpful and is very knowledgeable with everything he has in the store. Everything he has suggested has been extremely good. My older boys love being able to find unique craft beers. Kay provides the kind of personal service that is hard to find in todays world."

"I will go out of my way, passing other liquor stores, to go to Kay's. I've been there twice, now, and both visits have been informative and delightful. First of all, the selection is unbelievable as there's so much to choose from. Additionally, Kay knows his stuff. My first time there, he recommended I try this stout from Founders that he just managed to get in stock. It was so delicious! Last time I went, he was carrying this stout made with cherry juice, which was also delicious! My point is that the selection doesn't go stale and there's always something new to try. It's clear that Kay takes pride in his shop and he is always professional, super helpful, and ridiculously nice for a guy who runs a business in New England."

"The customer service here is awesome. I spoke with Kay the owner and he was very nice. He is also knowledgeable on the items he sell. He didn't make me feel rushed and I had a few questions. Prices on liquor are a dollar or two more than other places. Wine prices are about the same as other places, but I always check this store out because he has good sales at times. A lot of time when I am looking for something specific, he has it, when no one else don't."
