REI

"REI is a great place in general, but this particular location is really great. All categories are well stocked, both assortment and size. Staff members are really knowledgeable and willing to understand your preferences to help you pick the right product. Not uncommon to have multiple staff members involved in offering an opinion on trail shoes or higher end gear. Product quality is, across the board, great. I’ve only ever had to return something once (no problems), but was well aware of their no hassle return policy. It’s about a 40 minute drive for me, so I don’t drop by as often as I’d like, but always worth a drop in. Parking can get a bit hectic in this lot at times with Shake Shak right nearby too, but not a big deal. Easy on/off I-84! If you’re not a member of the REI Co-op, you should be."

"This review is not for this REI store specifically but for REI in general. Ordered an item 11/4 with expected delivery date 11/7. Still no item and no date. Support is of no help. My last order with REI. Nothing more than a scam."

"Only reason to the missing 1 star is that I've been here a couple times now, and the staff are just extremely...arrogant is the best way to describe them. Before I go more into that, REI has a nice selection of hiking equipment and I probably will only come here for hiking gear. Store closes way too early, it's always busy 30 minutes prior to closing on the weekdays. WARNING - SHOES / BOOTS are simply never in stock at all apparently. Back to the staff, a lot act like they know best and can't be bothered answering questions fully. It's as if they just want you to leave. Asked for a pair of boots to try on, came back not once, but twice with the wrong boot, to only find out they had zero in stock (just tell me without bringing me entirely different style boots). Employee was being entirely rude (sighing & rolling eyes) to a non American (thick heavy accent from their country) family looking to try shoes on. Either way, I'll still shop here, just wish the staff weren't like that."

"First time to this newly opened store and immediately liked it. Large space with variety of selections for outdoor activities. The staffs were super friendly. The layout and display in the store is very organized and neat. The location cannot be better. It’s cross the street of Westfarm Mall and in a plaza with Trade Joe’s and other big stores. Can be a one day fun shopping trip to complete everything on the shopping list."
