"Gabels is my favorite package store by far. It's conveniently located and on par with other stores prices and inventory but what sets this store apart is the staff. Maybe I go their too much lol but I'm on a first name basis with most people that work their. I will go out of my way to go their if possible but the ONLY problem is the is the owner is unkind to this friendly staff"

"To the best of my memory on liquor prices the price is the gables wine shop are extremely inexpensive it may be just be the state of Connecticut doesn't have the taxes on liquor the other states do but I appreciate liquor taxes River Federal thing so I don't know if their markup can be very much because a 750 ml bottle of Crown Royal Apple normally cost in the neighborhood of 40 to 45 dollars after tax Gables has a price on a Shelf at 2999 add to get out the door cost about $32 that's like at least eight to 15 dollars cheaper than I'm used to paying"
