"I was there yesterday - purchased a good amount of liquor and the person as the cash register told me he was offering me a deal and giving me a discount and only had to pay $130. It seemed reasonable so I didn’t have a problem. I then checked the receipt and he actually charged me EXTRA for 2 of the items I purchased (he literally scammed me). He entered a “custom amount” for these two items instead of scanning the bar code which was how he was able to charge me more. I went back and tried to get a refund, and he told me that my credit card was locked and that he couldn’t refund me for 30min until his boss came to the store. I asked me why he upcharged me on the 2 items and just deflected the question and said there was nothing he could do about it, blaming the system - this made no sense because he had to physically enter the “custom” amounts for those 2 items, so he knew he was scamming me. Please be careful, they are literally scamming people hoping that people won’t check the receipt. I will not be taking my business to this illegitimate business."
