Ridgefield Liquor Shop

"I needed wines to bring to Thanksgiving dinner. I went online to get ideas. All I knew was that I was looking for a Zinfandel + a Pinot Grigio. Walked into Ridgefield Liquor Shop + was immediately greeted. I explained my situation + was brought to both of those areas. The fellow explained the different pricing structures to me. After he showed me some of their best sellers, I was able to make my selections quickly. It turned out that both categories I'd wanted were made by the same company...the company had the same name as one of my hosts. I knew that my host would appreciate my selection."

"I’m 26 with a legal form of ID (my license) and they turned me away because they didn’t believe me. I’ve never had a problem anywhere in my life since I was in my early twenties. They didn’t even scan the ID. If you don’t look 55 years old, then don’t even bother wasting your time here because regardless of the authenticity of your ID they won’t sell to you."

"I stopped going here because the prices often seemed off, way over what it should of cost, and when i asked for a receipt, of couse it wasnt itemized, it just gave the total. Went back today because i was in town and got a cheap bottle of wine and a 4 pack of beer and they tried to charge me $50 for it, when i questioned it, i got oops i charged you twice. I have a feeling they "oops charged you twice" whenever they think they can get away with it."

"I tried calling to speak to the manager today and he was very rude and wasn’t helpful at all. When I asked for his name he hung up on me. I then called back and I tried to explain that someone stole my credit card number and used it to purchase $159 and some change to purchase liquor illegally with a stolen card. They speaking of the store manager did not verify anything they just excepted it and could care less. As far as I am concerned they are just as guilty as the thief that stole the credit card number. I would suggest nobody buy from these people. Again the so-called manager was rude and very unhelpful."
