"Had a ton of fun here, great walkable course. It was my first time playing disc golf and I’ll definitely be back!"
"I would say one of the better courses and I would have given it six stars except I couldn't find the trail back after hole nine to the parking lot at hole one. And my u disc didn't work but I was using onyx tracking my step so I could not walk the highway back. If you don't have a tracker you can see the lake from whole nine and the road. Just get to the road as you can and turn right"
"This review is as of 8/11/22 on a rapidly improving course. Fairways are in the process of being groomed, and tee pads are not installed here. They appear to be accepting sponsorship at this time on a per hole basis. Price point on hole sponsorship did not appear on the posted notices. Spellman Park (Far Flung Disc Golf) is a fantastic, tucked away 9-hole course in the middle of a giant recreational complex. This course's baskets are set up with traditional, heavy wooded New England fairways, with the holes close enough together that you aren't walking far between basket and next tree. I would say that the number of obstructions on the fairway (guardian trees, fairway shrubs ect.) are minimal. This course also favors tight lines leaning towards mild down elevation straight throws. The challenge of this course, especially peak summer, is an unforgiving fairway. Holes 7 - 9 will eat your discs if you go into the rough, with 1-6 being a bit more manageable. This is definately a course I highly recommend ensuring that you really make sure you are watching where your disc lands, and then "drawing" a landmark towards it from the fairway before leaving the tee after a drive."
