Reviews
"While visiting family over the weekend, I could not resist browsing through some vinyl. I stopped by this Sunday and was amazed by the selection and service. I wished I lived closer to this store ... you Hartford folks are lucky to have Paul's boutique nearby!!!"
"Cozy record store with a nice owner. Gives a reward card that has increasing discounts every time you come back up to 25% off your entire purchase, I thought that was pretty sweet. Good selection, good prices, and it's organized well."
"What a nice and knowledgeable person Paul is. He purchased my vinyl LPs and 45s plus two turntables for a fair price. Very satisfied with the entire process. Additionally, he has such a large selection to choose from. It was like walking back in time and enjoying the sounds of my youth as I searched through the collection of recordings."
"Great potential. I think I met Paul (a really friendly and knowledgeable guy). But I found the grading on the used records that I purchased to be a bit misleading. Also, the staff I’ve encountered on subsequent visits have been less than helpful/friendly. Wishing the best for this place."
"I went there for the first time today. I believe I met Paul and he couldn't have been nicer. I bought three very good albums (Animals, Johnny Cash, and The Go Go's) for $15. I thought the prices were very good (some as low as $2.50 and one as high as $99 but most being $5-$15) considering the quality and the fact that each album was rated and packaged in a plastic sleeve. Some were still sealed. The store has two floors, the first having a bunch of old stereo equipment and some bargain bins that offered 4 albums for $10. Downstairs is where the bulk of the albums were, alphabetized by band name. The store has a nice vibe. They were playing some Bob Marley while I was there. About a half-dozen customers were there and it felt like I was back in time. I left feeling pretty good."
