Reviews
"Very rude and disrespectful They charge way to much in the store and need to improve quality and quantity of items."
"I recently moved into the neighborhood and my very first experience with that store I was in the mood for something sweet (no I don't smoke marijuana) Thank God I observed some cherry pies wow I have not had a cherry pie in years so I bought 2 $1.98 each I got them home got a glass of soda and reclined in my chair and would you believe the first one I started to eat was stale (paste)I contacted Hostess and found out that the pies EXPIRED ALL THE BACK FEBRUARY 2023 I went to the store and complained and he threw me out the store and told me to never come back well he did me a favor because I will not return back to that store ever Hostess refunded me 3 coupons that I may use to buy the cherry pies this store is selling this stale items to our children please be careful what you purchase from corner stop."
"Nicest guys around! They made my day and were super kind on price."
"I remember 4 years ago it was our first year in Middletown I took the kids trick or treating in town of Farmington or Windsor we are used to being able to go in corner type stores to get candy from the clerks. They are rude we were attempting to go in kids went ahead of me because I told them it’s worth a try. One of the men yelled out to my children “Get out don’t come in Get out” til this day we won’t ever forget word from word. From tht point on he is just rude to my children and other children as well. I’m fed up the way he signal out my son the most tells him nd my children they are not allowed nd he will call the police accusing them of stealing when I always send my children with well over 30 dollars. We’ve spent hundreds possibly 1000s at this point nd I’m just fed up. For me as an adult he rushes me like I’m a kid nd yells out EBT (I wish I had ebt) nothing wrong with ebt but it’s truly rude and obnoxious! I truly hope they can be nicer to their customers which is children for the most part. I should not have to send my Caucasian best friend to go to store for us to get great service 4/5 years later and owners/workers are still so rude except one gentleman who is younger than the others he is so polite and kind to EVERYONE"
"I pulled up at 10:50pm when they close at 11. The person working looked at me and locked the door and then got in his car and drove away with me standing at the entrance. I’m in the parking lot writing this review and 3 separate cars have pulled up and tried to get in and turned around and left. What an absolute joke. If your hours are till 11pm why are you closing 10 minutes early and turning away all that business? I want to speak to the manager. Please contact me when you see this. I live in the community and come here all the time and every single time the people are rude l, but to purposely lock the door early and leave while I’m standing outside trying to get in is ridiculous."
