About Us
Replay Records is a music store located at 2586 Whitney Avenue in Hamden, Connecticut, United States. Since 1989, we have been providing Connecticut with quality music. We are excited to announce that our friend and fellow musician, Van Duren, has a documentary made about him, featuring our friend Doug as well. We have been nominated for an award and appreciate all the support from our customers and friends. Our store hours are Thursday through Monday, with appointments available for private browsing. We have implemented safety measures such as mask requirements and limited capacity to ensure a safe shopping experience. Please respect our policies regarding handling merchandise and bringing in music for sale. We care about the health and well-being of our customers and appreciate your cooperation. I had actually worked at another record store down the road, and my boss recommended them for an out-of-print record(Ohio Express, I believe.) That store has closed and that boss still recommends Replay Records. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly owners and fun mixed collection. I got most of my Alice Cooper collection at Replay. I got Judy Garland and Bing Crosby for my dad at Replay. I brought my parents and my best friends to Replay. Very good+ condition. Prices have remained quite fair over many years. Masks required as of this review. They have earned my 30 years' loyalty."
"I have done very little shopping since the pandemic started in March but I decided to stop by Replay Records today. I had read on Facebook that Doug was very careful about keeping the store clean and socially distanced. It was a great experience, I felt safe the whole time I was there. They seem to have gotten quite a bit of new stock, a lot of records that I hadn't seen before there. Doug is knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Replay if you're interested in doing a little socially distanced record shopping."
