"Arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday evening for dinner. Two other parties were finishing up then we had the place to ourselves until we finished up at 6:30pm. Few walking to pick up orders. Always a nice atmosphere in this cozy restaurant, the music was on point. Bartender was the one taking orders, serving and on phone orders. He took a while with the drinks but they were made to our specifications and great. Had the sampler appetizers - all good. Seems like the staff started coming in about 6pm and jumped right into their roles. Entree came out rather quickly after appetizer was brought out so by the time I got to it, it was a bit on the warm side. Portions are just right."
"Love the restaurant I actually used to work here years ago. i landed the job when i created my short film called Marisol. It was amazing to use their restaurant to actually experience their culture. They took a lot of the good dishes off the menu. i was hoping to order the Polo moderno one of the very first dishes i ate when they gave me the opportunity to order whatever i wanted on the menu. But I'm guessing they took that off too but overall love it brings back so many memories."
"A cozy restaurant with very interesting interior decor. A good variety of food and drinks. Has vegetarian options."
"Great little place. The food was excellent. I had the Cubano with a soup (black beans). Both tasted really good. My wife's ceviche was top notch as well, with a lot of seafood on it. Very authentic."
"Came here for lunch with my sister and bestie. The restaurant is tiny but very cute. Water was self serve and you had to order using the scan code, which I do not mind but at the end when you pay for you food they charge you a 12$ fee!! That to me is ridiculous and then they want you to tip as well? First time ever seeing this. The app was convenient and easy to use but costumers should not be charged for it, especially if you don't have an option. The food was ok. Nothing special in my opinion. My favorite part of the meal was the appetizer. We shared the Soul Sampler, which came with tostones, spinach croquettes, and papa rellena. Everything was delicious but the papa rellena needed more meat inside. The app was 20$ which in my opinion was way too much. For our entrees we ordered the Cuban sandwich, which I choose French fries as my side. It was nothing special. Also ordered the Fricase de Pollo. I personally did not enjoy the flavor or texture of the chicken. Again nothing special. The drinks were good. Ordered a sangria and mojito. They were light but tasty. I personally wouldn't return. But I did enjoy lunch with loved ones!!"
