"We love the Jewett City VFW! My family hosts most of our events there, from annual Christmas party, to wedding receptions and funerals. The venue is clean and can accommodate larger parties (our most recent Christmas party had 105 people). We also go for their breakfasts, first Sunday of every month. The homefries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, my favorite anywhere. I've never come across homefries quite like them, to be honest. Most times I get homefries at other restaurants I find myself saying "still not like the VFW's.""
