"My girlfriends and I booked a weekend stay at the Saybrook Point and were looking for a cool local spot. We came across Sip Wine Bar (about a mile from the resort) and it was incredible!!! Amazing service, great chill atmosphere & best charcuterie board we’ve ever had. Owner Derek is so personable and nice! We had the best time. Will absolutely come back! 100% recommend."

"My wife and I went with another couple over the holidays. The other couple were true wine experts as they are producers of wine on a national level. We each had two flights and the wines were amazing. With the help of Derrick we were able to order some outstanding matching food. This little gem is a must go. The experience was tremendous. "Happened upon this spot randomly when enjoying the town during my husband and my anniversary. It was a Friday afternoon and it was a great quiet spot to sip some lovely wine and enjoy a yummy charcuterie board. The owner of course really knows his stuff and had great suggestions for our flight. It's a beautiful spot with awesome music, service, food and wine! We will be back."

"We visited Sip on one of our nights on a girls’ weekend trip. Our waitress, Christina, was so incredibly helpful and friendly. We ordered a flight of wine, cheese, and charcuterie. Christina helped us choose a wine we’d never had and guided us through our cheese thought process. Everything was perfect! We spent a few hours drinking and snacking, never feeling rushed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we’re only sad that we don’t live here so we come back all the time. But, next time we’re in Saybrook - we will be visiting again!"

"I stopped in here with a group of friends on a Friday afternoon to try out some new wines. We got there shortly after they opened and were able to get a table pretty easily. The wine options are great and it's nice that you can get a glass or a flight of options. Our waiter was also really helpful and able to describe the ones with a lot of information. We each got a flight and then we also shared a board of cheese and bites for the table. It's a bit expensive, but definitely good quality and a cute spot. I recommend a visit!"
