"I've complained about this a few times this year and it hasn't been addressed. We're probably ditching the flex pass next season as a result. 1) Slow play. There were more than 2 open holes in front of the group in front of us this morning. 4 dudes who had no business playing the golds were sucking it up from the tips, and there was no ranger to tell them to move it. We were off at 7:20 and it still took over 4.5 hours to play. 2) The rough is a joke. Mow the stuff. You're going to say it's because of all the rain, but Crestbrook, East Mountain, Southington Country Club, and even Western Hills aren't having the issue. It slows down play way too much. I shouldn't lose my ball 6' in front of the green. 3) You need more ball washers and spike cleaners on the course. Most of the ones remaining don't even have water in them. Today was miserable. I've stopped inviting non-flex pass holding friends to come play with me. I feel guilty having them shell out $90 for such an experience."

"I stopped playing here about ten years ago due to (at the time) the highest greens fees around and the poorest conditions. My new neighbor invited me out so I figured I'd give it another look. Not much has changed. Still over priced, horrible condition. There's more dirt and clover in these fairways than in a cow pasture. Only good thing about the course(which hasn't done a single improvement in 30 years) is that the green were actually, quite nice"

"Wonderful time at the annual charity gala that chose this long established Farmington Club as it's location and host this year. Held in a spacious outdoor pavilion with event tent sidewalls for warmth and an outdoor fire pit, there was an open bar, dinner table with a London Broil carving station, pasta, bread and circulating appetizer trays throughout the meal. The food was well prepared. There was plenty of seating with white table cloths and autumn centerpieces. A table for patrons to purchase wrapped wines guaranteed a certain value was center place, and a stage with lectern and PA system was set up at the front end for speakers and award winners. The CCF charity had its usual photograph station, as well, for people who want to pose for photos to capture a memento from the night. The Tunxis Country Club, opened in 1962, mostly used for its 45 hole golf course and by its members, has two places open for events on its grounds plus a full service restaurant and bar. Ample parking, country setting, convenient location, and professional service makes this a good choice for those looking for above par places to meet."

"Another spontaneous Golf Weekend! Had the pleasure of Playing all 3 TPCC Courses White, Green and Red over the last 3 days. Enjoyed all 3 The white was the Nicest in my opinion, More challenging Than Red or Green Hit em straight and you will be rewarded. My wife only plays 9 so the red was an Perfect dose. The Staff overall was Friendly. Had an 7 am Tee time and the doors were open at 640 went in to register and the Older Man was taken back and said I haven't even opened the register come back in 10 Instead of good morning:) or some welcoming greeting Lock the doors then if you aren't ready? was Planning on hitting an bucket to warm up but that didn't happen. The carts were nice and clean and sanitized. Enjoyed an surprise Morning shower by the sprinklers but it Felt good in the heat:) Prices were reasonable. Hopefully they will get the Tavern Open soon it looked like an nice place to relax with an Cold Drink after an Round. Nice Town Would Play here again."

"Tunxis is an excellent place to go for a round of golf. There are multiple courses that challenge everybody at every skill level. Always well kept in good shape and a fun place to play. There is both practice greens as well as an irons driving range. Parking is convenient and easily located in Farmington right off of Rt4"
