"Dec 18 Me and my family had reservations for 20 people. When we arrived, our seating was not ready, and the staff had no clue about it. My family member was in contact with the owner up until the arrival time. The staff said they had no idea about the Reversation for 20 people. FIRST OFF When we came in and told the server about the reservation the boy was not welcoming at all. He had nasty look and nasty attitude when we were just trying to have a nice birthday dinner for my cousin. We ended up asking for a manger. He walked away with an attitude. Basically, Pouting like a child. They told us just to have a seat until they could get the chairs and tables together which took them over 30 to 35 minutes just to be seated. While we sat and waited the server (dark skinned younger black boy) had an attitude because he had to do his stressful job and was pouting and rolling his eyes the whole time just walking back and forth...I guess someone pissed in his corn flacks, MIND YOU The place wasn't even packed. It was about 5/6 at most in there at the time. We were offered nothing while we waited. Then my partner had gotten us a drink. My drink was nasty and pretty sure she didn't know how to make the drink. But at least the lady wasn't rude like her other coworker. After waiting for those 30 to 35 minutes to be seated, we decided to take our business elsewhere. To be treated like we were less then when trying to support our community and my cousins is really upsetting. We wanted to have a good time and listen to good music and was met with the attitude from hell. I really suggest a team meeting, better yet just start from the bottom up with the staffing. This place has good potential, but MAYBE next the time our visit will be better."

"Loved the vibe at Jazzy's! Javi was a sweetheart...My family and I had a ball... love music ... drinks were delicious... especially the Billy Holiday OMG....love music was a VIBE. DELICIOUS MEAL ❤️❤️❤️ WILL DEFINITELY be back...."

"Mac and cheese was disgusting and cornbread was soooo dry. Collard green were well seasoned,but still had a bite to them. The yams were not soft enough, but flavorful. The portion was pretty small and the packing for takeout was awful. I didn’t like the food at all! I ordered two orders of cornbread, Mac and cheese and collard greens. I spent $20 on an unsatisfying meal!!!!!"

"I was passing through New Haven today and my friend suggested this restaurant. After about 30 seconds of the “are you sure you’re in the right place” eyes we were seated under Machiavelli Tupac and across from janet. The decor in here is perfect in every way. The artwork, the albums, the menus on the old 45s, the ornate ceiling tiles, it was all great and never too much. The menu said they were out of a lot of things and I’m not sure if that was a Sunday thing or what and I didn’t ask because the other options were just as good. My husband and I both got the Ludacris. The chicken was so juicy and plump and cooked to perfection and I did not have to ask for or wait for the hot sauce. My husband is really weird about fried chicken and he loved it. French toast is French toast. The Calloway drink was delicious. There were carafes of water on the tables, the service was excellent and quick and friendly, we never had to ask for a single thing, and we left completely satisfied. I definitely have to find more reasons to come back to the area and get through the rest of the menu. You should open up a spot in Throgs Neck I know just the right venue"

"I'm booked on the Comedy Show tonight, but as always... I support the venues that I work at. So I had to order some food and I went with the "Marley" which is a BBQ Jerk Chicken with Cabbage and Rice n Beans. It's definitely a Jamaican classic and lives up to every expectation. The food is Delicious and the service is Fast and Friendly. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and pop in to Jazzy's Cabaret. Thank me later."
