"Such a lovely place to walk into. Great food from local and global sources including items made by the incredibly charming man that greeted us. A well curated food shop to begin with but the gentleman who ran the shop (wish I remembered his name) immediately greeted us with a wealth of information about both the food and the objects (local hand-crafted items, some antiques) around us. Purchase of one of his food items came with an offer of a few of his best recipes! I have yet to try them, but I am certain they will be delicious when I do. We went in only to look, and then left…but I had to come back on my own when the others were shopping down the block to try his own mustard blend and get one more dose of charm. Independent business is so difficult in this world…so happy to see a small business with charm and warmth. We need more business like this! I will be back in the Spring and will be sure to support About Food often when I return. How can you NOT like a place that has a shelf just dedicated to preserved lemon? Tim Cannon"
