"You guys are SICK!!!!! I posted my review here a couple weeks ago waiting to hear back from you guys. You guys REMOVED my honest and sincere review. You guys know your manager Tjay is absolutely ruthless and unprofessional. He needs to be removed asap. He needs a hair transplant for all the attitude stored up in there waiting to come out on anyone. Disgusting place. Needs to be shut down immediately."

"I’m a new shopper to Stop&Shop as my family and I used to shop mainly at Trader Joe’s. My first experience here was absurd. As I walk into the store for my first time I was very confused as I didn’t know where anything was. The associate to were stocking the shelf’s were very pleasant and kind in helping me find all my items. After I was kindly led to the pasta I needed someone’s help to find baby food. That’s when my experience took a turn for the worse. I asked very kindly to the closest store employee who turns out to be the manager somehow asking him if he knows where the baby food is located at. He turned around in shock like I asked for something impossible to find. He said “Sir, Do you think this is a Walmart or Target? How would I know where baby food is at”. I couldn’t believe my ears. I responded with, “oh I thought supermarkets sold baby food, Trader Joe’s down the street does”. He gave me the nastiest look and said, “Well maybe if you like that store that much since they have “baby food” you can go shop there not at my store”. I couldn’t believe my ears. I managed to check his name “Tjay” it said on the name tag. I went straight to customer service after this encounter and they blew it off saying “he’s new here”. I couldn’t believe this happened over baby food. Nonetheless I finished shopping and found the damn baby food by myself. Never coming here again and sticking with Trader Joes unless “Tjay” is sent out of his “store”."

"I am furious. Me and my lovely wife, Tara have been shopping at Stop&Shop since we got married about ten years ago. We recently moved to Darien, CT and were more than pleased to see a Stop&Shop in our new town. Our first shopping experience about a month ago was great. The staff seemed friendly and morals were high. Then two days ago our second experience was awful. I don’t even think awful is a strong enough word. My wife and I were in the chip aisle and she was in need of tampons. As you know from earlier in the review we are new here so we didn’t know where they were. My wife points out the closest worker with a clipboard in his hand and says she’s gonna go ask him as I look for the popcorn. Out of nowhere she comes back IN NEAR TEARS. I immediately ask her what’s wrong and she says the worker she asked known as “TJ” who is “quote on quote” a manager attacked her for asking saying “Do I look like a women to you? How would I know where that is? Go ask someone else i’m clearly busy”. I was shocked to hear this. I walked up to him but before I could even say anything in his high voice he repeats, “STOP, I said what I said and walked away”. I was SHOCKED a manager and grown man could act like that. My wife and I went to go ask another worker and he kindly walked us right to the tampons. I said to him “Well thank you, manager “TJ” or whatever his name is gave us issues”. He replied sadly as his whole mood just changed with “well he is our BOSS” then walked away. To me it seems this man has his fingers wrapped around this store leading to negative morales. Me and my wife were disgusted. We are never shopping at this Stop&Shop again unless he’s gone. We will gladly take a trip to the Norwalk or even Wilton Stop&Shop."

"I am beyond upset. This Stop & Shop has been my go-to grocery store for YEARS. Never had a problem with the store, loved all the staff and management. Store was always super clean and employees seemed super happy to attend to their customers. I have a big family, so I shop twice a week. I typically go Tuesday and Friday. The newer, I’m assuming - because I’ve never seen this man here before until a few weeks ago, manager named ‘TJAY’ is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Not only have I had to ask him a few questions, but he also disrespects his employees. I’m not sure what kind of manager he is, but he’s always walking around with a clipboard so I’m assuming he manages the foods and aisles. I had asked him where I could find some Entenmann’s cookies since I know they don’t have it in the bake department. His response was so disappointing and upsetting. He said, “Ma’am, how do you not know where is it? Have you looked around, maybe you would find it?” and I said I did check and couldn’t find it in the cookie aisle or bake department. He refused to tell me or walk me where it was, so I had to ask another manager, John, and he kindly walked me to it. Another interaction I had with Tjay, assuming he was just having a bad day, I had asked him if they had restrooms and if he could locate it for me, as my daughter needed to go. He said, “Being a GPS isn’t apart of my job.” and rolled his eyes. I was so appalled, I don’t know how to report someone but he needs to be reported and fired! I saw him speaking to some of his employees, especially cashiers, so beyond disgusting. This young boy needed help with the payment of the lady in front of me. He called Tjay over since he was walking by. His response was, “If you can’t do your job right, just quit.” and pushed him away to the side. I am so beyond disgusted and angry. I will no longer be shopping here unless there’s a change."

"Jessica, working with Delivery & Pickup, is a phenomenal worker. She came right away to put the groceries to my car. As she was stocking my car up, she notified me about what was out of stock. She was professional and treated me beautifully! She did the job quickly and proficiently. I will definitely be switching my main store to this store and will ask for Jessica’s service again. Great job, Jessica! Mike was also extremely helpful when notifying me when my order was ready and treated me respectfully. He did amazing as well. thank you Mike and Jessica!"
