"The floor could use a little upgrading someplaces you feel like the floor is going to get away under you. Also the bread there needs to be checked more because there is usually some green bread there if you get my drift."

"I have a very good friend of mine who works there. I come to surprise him, and visit when I can. From the previous visits it seems like a very nice, quiet, friendly environment. I've heard about their grinders being really good, I finally just got around to trying one today even though I have to use my gluten free bread because I'm allergic to wheat. The only grinder I've had so far was pastrami, looking forward to visiting again and trying other grinders!"

"Local mom and pop market. The new owners have been slowly upgrading the store over the last few years. The meat is the best around as far as store meat. I wish they would work out a way to sell local farm meats. The selection is small (compared to the giant retailers) but you definitely have choices. The deli staff is great. The new owners are the nicest people you could ask for Hopefully they continue to upgrade the store/building so Putnam Super can remain a local staple for many years. UPDATE 9/2021 The oldowners have moved on which is sad. They were awesome and they had young children that were so sweet. This brings me to the current owners/management they are rude, the store is in disrepair and only getting worse. If it was not for the regular employees at the deli and register I would have given less stars. Hopefully things change for the better."
