The selection of food is great from Ferris farms ice cream, Bridgewater chocolates to locally made turkey chili and other soups, and of course great pasta. "Absolutely the worst experience ever. There on Christmas Eve and the ladies that work behind the counter are extremely rude. Went early morning to pick out some specialty food was told they couldn’t fulfill order needed to be called in prior. Went back home to call in order for later pick up, was told could not call in order AFTER I was told I could. Eventually after complaining and dealing with the rude lady she said come back later. Went back later to pick up and of course rude and disrespectful to me again. Who speaks to a customer that way? Said they are busy? Place is empty ( always empty)they are sitting around doing nothing. They can’t afford to be Turning customers away. Left my items on counter and walked out. Will never return to establishment. Ruined my holiday! Should be ashamed of themselves. Time for her to retire, not the community feel of Southbury that other businesses offer. Good bye !"
