"It's amazing that anytime I buy produce here it's either very unripe or gross AF and ends up in the trash. I wasted $7.99 on cut & boxed mangos that were dry and hard as rocks and very sour. $8 well spent on my garbage can. I'm done wasting money on produce here. And as another review states, this is not a grocery store it's a convenient store. Over priced good & garbage/ rotting products with limited options."
"I like this Stop & Shop. It is close to home and convenient. Their produce section is really good, along with their deli and bakery. The store is usually very clean and the employees are helpful. Plenty of parking, making it easy to get in and out."
"Often sells expired items. I recently returned with 2 items expired, only one of them I couldn't find the receipt for and Yvette treated me like as if I stole it and said company policy couldn't exchange it. I could understand if I was a serial returner, but no, I shop here multiple times a week, never return anything and showed up with a receipt for the accompanying item so obviously the other one was lost or misplaced. If you dont know when to appropriately make adjustments to serve your community and your regular customers, you shouldn't then be a manager. It's bad enough that the majority of your employees are always miserable, a reflection of the working conditions you provide, now to deal with this, a manager who doesn't know how to properly manage or maintain customer retainage and worse to treat a customer like there's something wrong with them for being a human and losing a receipt. Perhaps manage your stock better and these issues wouldn't arise. For anyone reading this review, there's a Shoprite and Trader Joe's and Aldi right nearby, Shoprite is open as late as Stop & Shop and they're so much nicer there.
