"Our previous Ameriprise advisor 'shunted' us off, after many, many years, to Sean Gavin as our new advisor, with no warning whatsoever. (This has happened repeatedly over 30 plus years with Ameriprise, very annoying and rude). So after about two years, guess what Sean does? Shunted us off yet again to another Ameriprise office, again with no advance warning. Knowing that we wanted to have someone local who we could meet in person and talk to face-to-face if needed, this time he picked an office OUT OF STATE. In New Hampshire! (At least it wasn't California LOL) Granted, we never established any kind of relationship and he was not the easiest person to talk to. And, in all fairness, a large part of this time was during the pandemic/lockdown. But still... NOT the way to do financial business, or any kind of business. You just don't treat people like garbage, or commodities. It eventually catches up with you. Would not recommend him."
