"This place is despicable and will never receive a penny again. On Christmas Eve 2023, they had the audacity to give my mother-in-law a hard time about an order that was placed and the manager (whom of which I won't waste time mentioning her name) stated (extremely passive aggressively and worked up) that she had called her about an order multiple times and left multiple voice messages, yet, there was no trace of a phone call or voice message to be had from said manager on the phone. Even IF the customer didn't answer, that's the way you choose to handle it? You chose to lock in her for not answering and get THAT worked up about it? Don't worry, this gets better...It then proceeded to get more heated and the owner gets on the phone and in a pathetic attempt to assert a position of dominance over her says: "Do you know who I am!?" Wow, fairly appalling if you ask me...Interesting way to diffuse a situation, again, on Christmas Eve. This is the owner of the establishment who's leading? Got it. After a few seconds later a statement of: "I will cancel your order" follows as another attempt to assert a position of dominance. I get it, it's Christmas Eve and that's the last thing you want to be doing is dealing with customers and working. Again, my mother-in-law is an extremely calm and patient person and for her to have to escalate to that level to match an unprofessional level of service, is laughable and pathetic at best from an establishment serving customers on Christmas Eve."

"Nice food store and a great deli! My wife and I were there and wanted to get sandwiches before heading to a lake - and the gentleman behind the deli counter was more than pleasant, taking our orders for sandwiches and building them deliciously!"

"I used to love this place but if you shop here be warned - every time I go there they overcharge me for something.!!Whether a sale price doesn’t ring up as posted or they charge me for a different produce item that’s more expensive than what I’m buying. Just watch the screen as they ring up or look at your receipt afterwards. Every single time I go this happens. Also, why don’t they bag your groceries anymore? They just stand there doing nothing while you use the credit card machine ?? Then watch you pack yr stuff while everyone waits. No thank you"

"I really like this market. I don’t shop here all the time because it is - decent percentage more expensive (hence the 4 star rating) than the large chain grocers but they easily have the highest quality produce and meat in the area. The fried chicken is great. This isn’t their fault, but I’ve never had a non-confrontational deli experience when there’s a line. High concentration of uppity a-hole elderly shoppers and assorted entitled CT jerks."

"Super fabulous, gourmet quality food. Veggies are very fresh, deli has a wonderful selection of handmade dishes, and ready to eat packages. Highly recommend this little locally run market."
