"I've never actually used them for Covid testing before, but the drive thru pharmacy is a complete joke & nightmare to use at this location. I've called the pharmacy to ask if my medication will be ready at a specific time, they'll tell you that it will be, then we go to pick it up, but it's still not ready yet! This has happened several times & seems to be a common theme with this pharmacy. My fiance recently had to try three separate times to get his meds, because they kept giving him different times for pick up, but then they'd still tell him that it wasn't available yet. I've noticed new faces behind the counter recently, but they still don't do a very good, efficient, or professional job at servicing customers. They are terribly slow & give no consideration at all to pharmacy patient's busy schedules, overall needs & well being. I've often spent anywhere between 10-20 mins in line for my prescriptions...going inside to retrieve them is also honestly no quicker. They really need to improve, because many people in the community rely on them for their health & well being. Not being able to pick up necessary meds regularly when needed is a major inconvenience, but also very negligent of this pharmacy. Especially when they have doctor's orders to fill them! Pharmacists & pharm techs have a responsibility & obligation to prepare medication for customers, it is NOT their job to "play doctor" yet they do try to take on that role on many occasions. I've also witnessed them blame both doctor's offices & insurance companies for not having meds ready, when this usually isn't the case. Another problem we've dealt with here at Walgreen's pharmacy is that they will make customers wait until at least noontime on the date meds are due to be refilled to have them available. Many of us need to take our daily meds every morning, so not being able to get them until noon is really unacceptable & unfair. As long as it's "said refill date" I see no logical reason why meds can't be ready for pick up that morning for patients benefit. Many of us have to go to work or are otherwise very busy, so being forced to wait is really difficult & unnecessary. Some meds are the type that are crucial for patients such as insulin, heart medication, inhalers, EpiPen, or blood pressure pills, just to name a few examples, other meds such as antibiotics or pain meds need to be taken at certain times, so this can also mess up someone's regimen when not available to them when needed. Years ago, this pharmacy was much better. It's a shame they've gone downhill. I was recently forced to switch back to Walgreen's, because CVS no longer accepts any patients from the medical practice I go to, but I'm considering seeking other options because I'm really unhappy with the service I receive from this pharmacy. Very disappointed. Giving 2 stars is being very generous."
