Reviews
"Wanted to give this pharmacy a chance despite the low ratings here, but experienced rude and unprofessional customer service first time I went. :/"
"I would give this place negative stars if I could. CVS has now become the worst pharmacy chain and I've given up hope that maybe the people at some of these locations would be the difference. Not anymore! I made a call to inquire if they carried a certain medication that I had previously had filled at their location. Why previously? I changed to RITE AID because this store presented an adventure every month. How so? On more than a few occasions, there were 'miscommunications' on the phone and wasted trips to the location to be told they didn't have it in stock and would order but would take days when I would already have run out. That aside, I gave them one last chance and the woman on the phone told me that they don't have in stock (shocker) and to not waste my time calling other CVS pharmacies because they wouldn't give out that information. She then went on to tell me that it was my doctor's responsibility to find the pharmacy that carried the medication. A long time ago I used to be able to call the pharmacy and the person on the other end of the line would help and WANT to help. Customer service was a real thing considering I could have the prescription sent to many other places employing many other pharmacists. Not this individual. After laughing at what I though was a ridiculous yet very serious comment, I asked her to confirm if I should take my doctor's/staff's time to call around and find a CVS that carries this medication. She confirmed and was animate on how to go about that. I get there are measures in place to avoid the issues we saw with pharmacy robberies/violence over the Opioids. I understand this is why they don't give out information. That's no excuse to be rude and treat someone who had been a loyal customer the way I was treated. I'm not sorry to have laughed at your ridiculous comment on the phone. It is a shame that with all the technology to give people a reason to know who their neighborhood pharmacists are, the pharmacists themselves have lost touch with the fact that as a pharmacist, "I need my medicine and I need your help." If Amazon decides to start selling prescription meds, then there's no need for CVS pharmacy dept. (maybe they already do) This is a plea...Be decent human beings and stop treating people like it's their job to make your life easier. With this medication, I still have to come in and pick it up. It'd be nice to know there are people working there with better character than what I experienced today. It makes me think twice about the person who is actually entrusted to put the right medication, quantity, dose into that bottle when you make comments like the one I heard today. If this review makes it to the pharmacy manager, it's very easy (should be) to know who took this call. I'm now considering booking an appt with my doctor to just use the time to make phone calls to various CVS pharmacies as this person suggested. Would that really be a good use of their time? Would you want your family relative to be waiting at the doctors office for serious medical attention ONLY after my appt so I could have them make calls to CVS locations according to your staff at CVS?? Please use it as a teaching experience and maybe consider recording the calls."
"Why is every time I call to talk to a pharmacist at this location I am put on hold for an obscene amount of time or no one ever picks up!? It's getting ridiculous this CVS"
