"Hi! AKA Kar H Smithtown I cannot believe that I've lived in a town for over 18 years and over 10 of those years I had my family's scripts sent to CVS for medications. There's at least, over 15th scenarios where they didn't have the medicine ready or they didn't have stock and I'm talking about something you have to take every day. About 6 years ago I went to Spage's.. To This Day, I'm Always mesmerized by the cute things that they sell. (Prices are very fair, too!) If you were to pick up one of the items they have on display, there's no doubt it will make you think of someone you know or knew or even something special for yourself. Ron, the Pharmacist, and all the other folks at Spages. They are my very best kept secret. Although, I've commented/reviewed Spage's before as Kar H Smithtown. I have to share my secret again.... They are the BEST people I've ever dealt with, They have seriously helped me for the last several years. I have never had an unpleasant visit. This is the definition of what a real "pharmacy" is supposed to be like. Forget the big retail chains! Walgreens, CVS, I'm pretty confident that Spage's would match the price. And you'll have a much Better Experience, guaranteed! .. and Had I known that there was even a place that was so professional yet personal, my family and I would have been going there for the past 18+ years Thank you, Ron, Anna, and Everyone at Spage's!!!"

"Wow so disappointed! Long time customer 33 years in StJames. My Mom purchased an electric razor, box was scotch taped and blade cartridge was missing. When we tried to return we were greeted with a “sarcastic friendly have a nice day” after “sorry box was open you can send it to manufacturer” Spages will no longer be my go to. I’ve always patronized them because I believe in supporting community business. Antibiotics will be the only purchase I make there going forward. Not a smart move for Spages, everyone I know in St. James will know about this poor customer service."

"This Pharmacy, is easily the BEST Pharmacy I've been to. Spages Pricing, Timing, customer service, requests, preordering, and even their store selection is the best! They take medicaid and Alot of the different providers/ Insurance. Thats the #1 reason Ive had to switch pharmacys in the past... And ive been to every other pharmacy on the island, and off. I've never had any issues regarding my insurance with Spages. I only pay $1 for each prescription, regardless of insurance provider. So amazing because literally any time i changed my insurance, or even had issues with coverage, I was Always covered. They took every provider i had, even when i didnt, and only had Straight Medicaid. No issues at all. Not even Once. Providers : Emblem/HIP/fedilis/United Health are just a few that i had. And some of them were not good, but the issues were always with someone else, not Spages. ..this blew my mind. and I cant go on about it enough. With Obamacare gone, we need all the help we can get. And Spages is here to help. They are family owned/ran, and yet beat out MAJOR pharamcy chains like cvs, walgreens, duane reade, with their selection on medications and brands, constantly in stock and if they happen to run out, they already have it in stock by the next business day! This is easily the best pharmacy/store for all my needs, they have a holiday items for every season, and sales! always sales! they always have my chapstick, and the best types of old and new school candy you just cant find anywhere else. Everything is always in stock, and every time i go in there is always 1 or more people front facing and restocking the shelves. Always clean, tidy, presentable. And FESTIVE! Love their decorations. You can tell Spages, Really cares about their community and the people in it. They make me miss living in St. James. I used to run in there for something every day..Now i only get to go maybe once a week. But when i do get to visit them, they never disappoint, and i always leave with a smile. There are true professionals, and always do everything they can to accommodate my needs and requests. They address all my concerns and questions, they are very knowledgeable and diligent in there work! They do their best to help you, they go above and beyond. Where most places and people would just tell you theres nothing they can do, Spages wont. They went out of they're way to accommodate me and made sure i got exactly what i needed, through no gain of their own. *My personal experience, I was in there yesterday night, and keep in mind its less than a week before xmas. It was so busy everywhere due to the holidays, the traffic was terrible, So i completely forgot to call them and request a certain brand for my refill, I didnt realize until after i had left, and i was so angry at myself for not checking but i thought it was try and ask, it was worth a try, and I didnt even have to explain WHY i needed that specific one, The pharmacist was really cool about it, he just checked to see if it was in stock and it was, and he said come swap it out. Just like that No Questions asked. And this type of medication is Really expensive and they didnt even need me to stay and count it out, they had the new script ready in the 5 minutes it took me to get there (they were busy too!) The pharmacist was still on the phone AND working on orders when i get there, pretty much the whole time i was there he was busy busy, and yet didnt have me waiting at all. Even tho I Screwed up, he still put my order first so i wouldnt have to wait even though they were doing Me a FAVOR. I already loved you guys prior to this happening, and now I couldnt Not tell someone. So If your reading this and your debating on which pharmacy to make as your primary... GARENTEED: you will love Spages... or i will personally give you a cookie...a golden cookie. made of gold."
