"4 stars ⭐️ only for the pharmacy. Not actually the Walmart. Pharmacy staff is kind and courteous - the techs help as much as they can regarding where medical supplies are located"
"The lady who answered the phone at the pharmacy at 4:30pm on Wednesday 12/19/21 was unbelievably rude when I asked about a prescription refill. I called back to speak with manager and was put on hold by her for 10 minutes before getting hung up on. I recommend using the Walmart pharmacy on Main Street in Norwalk as the customer service is substantially better. I worked retail for over 7 years and have never heard somebody speak to a customer like that."
"Been using Walmart pharmacy for years, even after moving farther away from them. Always found the staff to be really helpful and patient."
"Read your doctor's instructions because they can't. My prescription said one pill 3 times a day. The idiots wrote 1 time a day. Callled got pharmacy the manager after 15 minutes. Condescending sob. To bad 0 is not an option"
"Pharmacy staff is surly and contemptible refusing to follow through on a simple request to take a moment to verify my existing insurance. It's was too much work for them. On the afternoon of Friday Jul 3rd I arrived to pick up my prescription that normally costs $6.60. I was asked to pay $447.00, This stunned me. When I protested and asked the pharmacist to verify my insurance coverage, she refused. Her excuse was "Jan 1st you changed insurance companies". The new one AARP, the largest, with the most leverage of any drug insurer, didn't cover this commonly used drug. I protested feeling her excuse was a way to get out of taking an extra step. The response was either I could pay or go home. Not having the $447.00, I went home, and Immediately called the insurance company. AARP has excellent customer service and informed Walmart pharmacy that I was most certainly covered. Rx cost was to be $6.60, as usual. This incident is a typical example of the disreputable and surly behavior of the average Walmart employee. Walmart stands for the sleaze corporate America has become. It allows this attitude to prosper and does nothing to correct it. This incident required an additional trip to the pharmacy and extra phone calls on my part to correct what should have been done by the pharmacy. Yolande Suzin, Stamford, CT"
