"They delived portable oxygen to my hospital room. The day I was release they were delivering my oxygen supplies. The representative that delivered to me was very nice he explained how all the equipment worked. Very good engagement"
"Very shady billing practices! you all are warned now make sure you read before paying for anything! they will bill your insurance company and still bill you. Once you pay them good luck getting a refund or speaking to any one that doesn't have a foreign accent. I was sent to collections and now am at risk of hurting my perfect credit score because they charged me and my insurance company... we both paid on time and they still sent me to collections!!! how can you get payment from my health insurance and still charge me! and not only that send me to collections for paying on time!! very very shady billing has been on going battle for months for a low amount with no resolve! But they have no problem calling me weekly to pay for more equipment!"
"While the delivery was quick and smooth by Atria, the directions on the nebulizer for a first time user were most inadequate. Surely you can ask the supplier to have a first time user assist them. Step 1,2,3 and pictures is a simple step. Seems there is no quantity control From manufacturers anymore."
"Can I give zero stars? One seems too generous. I used them for 2+ years for CPAP supplies. Ordering supplies was ok, though I found their automatic shipments were not reliable and didn’t actually happen automatically so I had to call and order every 3 months. The billing is horrific. They estimate your cost based on insurance and require that you pay your portion by credit card when the order is placed. I understand that they want to get paid but they won’t bill you and require that you pay the full amount that they think is due at the time you order. Problem is - that amount is often wrong. You have to watch your insurance claims very carefully and compare it against what you’ve paid, to see if it’s accurate. When it’s not, you have to fight with them to get a refund. I found one error they made, to the tune of $200+ in overpayment. I called billing and customer service multiple times, along with their patient satisfaction department, trying to get a refund. Best they would do was a credit to my account. In the meantime, I’d gone through all of my orders, payments and insurance EOBs for the year and found more billing errors resulting in Apria owing me $330. While they acknowledged their errors, they refused to refund any charges more than 45 days old and continued to try to get me to accept a credit for the overcharges less than 45 days old. It wasn’t until I threatened to file a complaint with the CT Attorney General and threw around the word “fraudulent” that they offered a refund. Even then, the refund I got was less than what they owed me and less than what they told me I’d be refunded. Three weeks and dozens of calls and emails, submitting proof of charges to my credit card and insurance EOBs repeatedly, I ultimately had to give them a deadline to refund my money in full, with a timeframe for filing the complaint with the AG if they failed to do so. I finally got a full refund 2 days before I would have filed the complaint. Don’t use them. Not worth it."
"I just received my device this week but My experience with Apria has been great! I had questions after night 2 and they called me without me initiating the first call. They saw the monitor history & figured I had some issues then patiently listened to my concerns and offered insight and feedback which greatly help on night 3. 5 stars so far!! :)"
