"UPDATE: Your explanation is totally unacceptable. I will never tour with your company. You also have insurance as a business and you also were given the opportunity to get money from the government to offset the effects of the pandemic on your business. As I mentioned, a far more reputable company (Rick Steves) refunded 100% of the money that they have for more than 24,000 travelers. This was clearly a money grab from Peter's Way. And I find your "goodwill gesture" of $250.00 towards another tour insulting. The response should have been you will refund 100% of my money. I stand with my one star review and if it was possible to give zero, that would be my rating. Shame on you Peter's Way. I had a trip planned to Israel in 2020. The trip was cancelled months before departure. Peters Way offered a $250.00 credit for a new trip but if you didn't do that they kept $500.00 of your money. They stated they had to prepay some charges. They refused to provide details of those charges. I just read an interview with Rick Steve's company had to cancel 24,000 travelers. They provided a full refund to every traveler. I still feel that I should get a 500.00 refund. I would NEVER book a trip with Peters Way. Very disappointed. Peters Way you should refund me my money. Not the right way to do business."

"We also got cancelled out on the tour that Richard Neiden reported. They're holding $1200 from us, and I'm looking at a travel insurance claim and/or small claims suit to hopefully get that back. Offering a possible tour a few years from now is their complete rewrite of our deal -- not acceptable. A lot of other persons on that tour feel the same way. I think they want to cut their losses now, shifting some to us. If they were to recoup more funds later from their vendors, we would probably never be told or share in those monies too. Also, they probably have their own insurance to help cut their losses. The latest (July 1, 2020): we asked for trip insurance when we first booked. The travel insurance company can find no record it was ever taken out by Peter's Way. Several other persons on the trip found out the same. We all think that Peter's Way has a policy of sitting on the premium money until shortly before the trip is scheduled to leave before sending it over to the insurance company. They are also taking the position that their terms/conditions hits us with a non-refundable fee. They are wrong since that language only pertains to a situation where the participant cancels and not, as in this case, Peter's Way. So, we have two breaches on their part: (1) their apparent failure to not book travel insurance for us upon receipt of our deposit; and (2) eventual cancelling of the 2020 trip by them, not us."

"This would have been our second trip with Peters Way. We know they cater to many Catholic Church’s disciples and are deeply disappointed in the way they kept their regular cancellation policy through this COVID issue. We all should have not been penalized as if we broke a leg and cancelled. This Pandemic was out of the ordinary and out of our control yet Peters Way kept to their $350.pp fee for cancelling. Extremely disappointed in their lack of consideration for their target audience, us faithful Catholics. Do not use their services."

"Was going to Germany on Peter's way tours Incorporated and the pandemic happened. Instead of refunding everyone's money Peter's way tours charged each person a $600 cancellation fee. We didn't cancel a pandemic happened. This is a very unethical way to run a company because none of the participants canceled a pandemic happened. I wouldn't travel anywhere with a company like this with little or no integrity."
