"Great service. A mistake was made but they did their best to make it correct. Great people behind that service counter."
"A friend recommended Superior Rental to me for renting a onetime use of a large as possible chainsaw to take down a maple tree trunk with a bottom diameter of about 4 feet. It was a Monday morning and they were busy. When it came to being helped I asked for their biggest chainsaw- which they gave me a 22” model. I didn’t have much choice and I allocated that day to taking down the tree trunk. I had a paid assistant with me, so we got on-site and started felling the tree. The saw seemed to take forever, and overheated- though there was plenty of bar chain oil. I got disgusted with the time it was taking - so after the tree fell, I took pics and returned the saw. I registered my complaint, then the repair tech guy gave me a much larger saw and said it was ready to go. We returned back , restarted cutting and still it was taking way too long, and again overheating. But now it was too late to return it- had to wait until the next day. The following morning I showed up with chainsaw in hand- complained about it not cutting and said that I needed to finish the job - sell me a brand new chain/blade. Then after I switched out the saw chain- WOW! - it cut through so quickly, no overheating and I was able to finish the job myself in under 3 hours. I returned the chainsaw, told them of the difference in performance and said “ Why didn’t you recommend buying a new blade?” - it would have saved me hours and the cost of paying my assistant too. - Plus they got a lightly used $45. blade for free! To me - they don’t put the customer ( and a first time one at that) first. Would I recommend them? - I don’t know- but to any future customers- don’t waste your time expecting a fully functioning product- if you’re renting a chainsaw- buy a new blade because the ones they give you are not going to get the job done! ---------------------------------------- Addendum: I'm back - just to say that sometimes people surprise you - a week after posting the above review - the manager reached out to me and said that he was going to try to make things right - I found him to be a real understanding and amicable guy and we had a bit in common with dealing with the public. The following day he let me know that I was getting a refund on the rental of the chainsaw. Seems fair enough to me - after all he got a almost new chainsaw blade - which costs about the same as a days rental. Now I can answer my own question posted earlier - Yes - I would recommend them - because if you have a reasonable issue - they will go the extra distance to work with you. Don't be afraid to ask for the manager!"

"Can not say enough about the professionalism and quality service from their lawnmower repair department. Not sure of his name, but squared away is an understatement. My mower looked detailed and ran flawlessly. I know where I'm taking my machines."
"Rented concrete grinder for garage floor. 1. I called and asked about their equipment. Was told that they had a 30 amp electric grinder. I asked if I could run it off of a home outlet and was told yes. This is on me for not knowing the typical capabilities of home electric. But from looking into it after the fact it seems unlikely that a home would have a 30 amp socket ready to go. I rented the electric grinder, got to the home I was doing, and it ended up the max amperage the house had was 20. Returned that grinder and rented a propane powered one. I think the salespeople should have known and rented me a 30amp generator. 2. Rented the propane grinder at 5pm on Thursday and returned it at 10 on Saturday. They charged me for Thursday night. I do not think I should have been charged for Thursday night as what's the difference if I pick it up Thursday night or Friday first thing in the morning. Will be trying other rental places in the area, do not expect to return."
