Cedar Mountain Stone & Mulch

"Bought rocks from this company. Awful, half of it was sand and pebbles. Called and asked to speak to a manager 3 times and received no response. Owner was suppose to call and nothing. I was told to wash the rocks with an attitude as if that’s going to make the pebbles any larger and just wash the sand out. I am someone who doesn’t write negative reviews but this is ridiculous. Customer service is a joke. This is not what I paid for."

"The quality of the mulch I bought from this company is good, and the lady I spoke to on the phone to place my order was very helpful and polite. I had a good experience with this company until 18 yards of mulch ended up on my businesses parking lot with no prior call. When I placed my order I was told I would be contacted to set up delivery information. Low and behold that never happened. I had a decicated spot on another part of our property to dump the mulch. Now it's right in our front parking lot taking up space (we are a country inn and parking space is already tight and a giant mulch pile is very unseemly). I'm not sure if the delivery driver attempted to ring the doorbell or not, but its a large building and I was presumably on the 3rd floor when delivery occurred and didn't hear them. Either way a simple call would have averted this problem. I am upset because we are reopening for business in about 1 week after renovations and I have far too much to do before I can move this pile of mulch out of my tiny parking lot. This was supposed to be a "take mulch as needed pile" from my storage area. I'm sure this was a simple slip up but it affect us in a big way. Was very close to being a great experience but is now sullied. I called to tell them I was not happy, and was told had no record of us ordering from them. No email confirmation or invoice. But a credit card charge!!!"

"My goal was to rip out my deck and put in a stone patio. Cedar Mountain was very helpful in telling me what I needed to get the job done and also the proper way to get the job completed. They also rented me a machine that allowed me to spread 25 yards of process stone. More importantly I shopped other places in the area and the Cedar Mountain prices were dramatically lower for high quality material. I had a lot of questions and they were very patient with me."
